Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Found hair in my food, called to report it, and somehow ended up dealing with a restaurant that acted like I was inconveniencing them by being disgusted. They wanted pictures, video, and even the length of the hair, but never managed a single apology. Then they offered for me to come back β a 30-mile round trip β as if that was a reasonable fix. Zero accountability, zero professionalism, and zero reason to trust this place again.

The food was great. We ordered masala dosa, mutton Rogan josh and dum biriyani. The dosa and the chutney were homely and delicious. Loved the mutton as well. The biriyani was ok. We went there at night and it was pretty busy with constant opening of the door. Hence there were bugs and mosquitoes inside the restaurant. I really hope they work on getting those out for customers dinning in.

So glad we decided to try something different today, after seeing a show at Playhouse Square and have Great Indian Kitchen for lunch. For first timers, walking into a place you've never been with having very basic knowledge of what foods to expect can be very intimidating. Their menu has zero pictures so we were really trying to rely on Yelp and Google Maps for photos of food. And while both platforms had photos, hardly any of them had a description of what was being photographed. Our server was very friendly and helpful with describing the differences between the different options. After some time and some more googling - I decided to get the chicken vindaloo with a spice level of 2. We also ordered garlic naan and garlic chili naan to share. I couldn't wait to dig in once my food was brought to the table. Both of the naan's were delicious but the garlic chili was our favorite. My chicken vindaloo with a spicy level of 2 was perfection! And before you say "what a sissy"....Indian spice level 2 still has a bit of a kick! I have plenty for leftovers tomorrow and am already thinking about what to get the next time we stop in!

Came down from the theatre, on a referral from a friend. Great atmosphere, a volleyball team was having a celebration in the back, high energy having a great time. We were still seated with in the first minute. Ordered five items, all were very well done and beautifully presented. Managers stopped by to check on the table several times and explained the flavors of the icecream, we tried two of them, very lovely.

Excellent, delicious food. Had a wonderful experience at the Great Indian Kitchen Restaurant; wonderful service. Varun delivered exceptional customer service. Their ice cream was delicious too. The mango was my favorite. Definitely recommend this restaurant especially if you love spicy food.
